The C.H.A.P. Store is a 501c3 Nonprofit ministry. Proceeds that are made from the Thrift Store fund our Food Shelf, Food line, and other outreaches that we do for the community. 

 

CHAP was founded in 1991; it has been serving the community ever since. ​In 2014 our store became a part of the outreach ministry of "The North Central Conference" and later, "The Western Conference" of "The Evangelical Church". In 2017, Compassion Ministries was formed and oversees The C.H.A.P. Store as well as two other ministries: "The Village" and "4 The Word."

We have Chapel services Monday through Saturday from 9:30 - 10 am. On these days the staff, volunteers, and the public gather to hear the Scriptures taught. Everyone is welcome; join us! Enter through the door that is between CHAP's main entrance and The Dollar Tree.

We have been helping families in Dakota County with emergency food for over 25 years. Find out more here.

Every year before Christmas time we do "Christmas Joy!"  We help provide Christmas presents to hundreds of families every year.
