The C.H.A.P. Store is an outreach ministry and thrift store located in Burnsville, MN and owned by CityLifeWorks. C.H.A.P. stands for Caring, Helping and Providing and represents our desire, to care, help and provide for our community.  We offer high quality, gently used clothing, furniture and household goods at very reasonable prices.  We strive to provide a clean, beautiful store filled with many exciting treasures to delight our customers.  We post a new sale every day…making the bargains stretch even further.

 

In addition to our items for sale, we also provide a customer corner where people can fellowship over a free donut and cup of coffee.  Three times a week we host a food line where the community can receive free fresh produce, bread, and grocery items.

 

CityLifeWorks, Inc. is the nonprofit compassion ministries arm of the North Central Conference of the Evangelical Church.  In addition to the C.H.A.P. Store, CityLifeWorks runs an outreach food ministry in the Jordan neighborhood of North Minneapolis that serves more than two hundred families each month.  Our goal in all our ministries is building redemptive relationships that point individuals and families to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. 

 

The C.H.A.P. Store has been in operation since 1991.  In October of 2014, CityLifeWorks purchased the C.H.A.P. Store to continue and expand its outreach ministry and provide new opportunities to serve in the Twin Cities.
